Houseboating on Lake Travis

We spent the whole weekend with the Finley clan on Lake Travis in a houseboat (pictured above). It was a really great time and a great "staycation" for the summer of pricey gas (almost $4.00/gallon!). The houseboat idea is great because you have everything you need on the boat, along with a chance to see the lake. We mainly stayed in a quiet cove and just enjoyed each other's company and relaxing. Reid had a really great time running around, playing with water bottles (apparently this is another amazing toy to him) and swimming with his family.
